Located in the heart of Greenwich, the building had been the joiner's shop for a local builder. Following the closure of the business it was sold to a private owner. The Practice was commissioned to implement the planning permission for change of use to residential. The result is a high specification loft-style house. As the site was surrounded on three sides by other properties the ground floor was utilised for bedroom and bathroom accommodation whilst the first floor houses the kitchen and living spaces. The upper floor is in two parts, linked by a four-metre long glass bridge.
