This Victorian Customs accommodation unit had been used as a floating office for many years. The owner commissioned the Practice to convert it into a house-boat. It was towed to a boatyard in Greenwich where hull repairs were undertaken, a steel frame inserted and new decks fitted. Following this it was refitted as a luxury, four cabin house-boat and towed back to its berth near Tower Bridge.
